Babeldaob (also Babelthuap) is the largest island in the islands nation of the Republic of Palau.It is in the eastern Caroline Islands Archipelago, and the second largest island in the Micronesia region of Oceania.

Babeldaob is located northeast of Koror Island, and its northern portion is in Koror State.The southern end of the island is in Airai State, Palau’s second-most populous state. The Airai Airport on the island is the nation’s principal airport

This bai is the house for the ten chiefs of this village. It is reserved exclusively for the council of chiefs of the village. This building is used exclusively for male chiefs, so women are not allowed here, unless we suspend the rules. Babeldaob is one of the most undeveloped populated islands in the Pacific Ocean, even though it is the second largest island in Micronesia (only Guam is larger in area).

NGARCHELONG-BADRULCHAU Stone Monoliths

Ngarchelong is the site of ancient stone monoliths which are mysterious in origin. Traditional Palaun religion regarded these stone monoliths as sacred prayer ground.

There are other stone monoliths located in and around the islands but one will not see as many as there are in Ngarchelong.

 Ngardmau is beautified with natural beauty and the essence of beautiful people with rich cultural integrity and honor. Historic sites during Japanese can be seen on every location while driving on the mountainous natural resource of bauxite. Inner village, the cultural décors and monuments can be seen.

Cultural sites are located in the town close to rivers such as Ngerurang’s River. Ngardmau has the largest rain forest in Palau where many creatures live. There are many rivers and waterfalls connected to each other.

Koror is the state comprising the main commercial centre of the Republic of Palau. It consists of several islands, the most prominent being Koror Island (also Oreor Island).
