MAGELANG CITY

Trying to travel again after 2 years pandemic, this time I visited ‘new’ destination in Jawa, Indonesia. Magelang, 60km north of the famous Jogja and home of Borobudur temple

Not much to see in City, I try to savour my hobbies in trying new food

And walk around the city square at night

NEPAL VAN JAVA

In the morning I start the journey to Butuh village which is in recent years famous for what we call Nepal Van Java. It’s because the view is similar to Namche Bazaar in Nepal

Though I’ve been to Nepal but not Namche Bazaar, I think this place is not similar to Namche Bazaar:)

Actually, the colored houses are less interesting than the beautiful view surrounding, with Mount Sumbing as background in clear day.

From the highest level of village , we can see the beautiful views of mountain

TERASIRING NAMPAN SUKOMAKMUR

This beautiful terracing is located near dusun Butuh ‘Nepal van Java’. But only accesible by motor because of narrow road

I’m more excited to enjoy this place than colored houses. We can enjoy the view from human’s eye, not drone’s eye

And end up with simple breakfast with breathtaking view
