What comes to my mind when I think about Australia is Ayers Rock , driving along the Great Ocean Road and snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef . This is an unusual destination for visitors from Indonesia who prefer to visit Perth , the Gold Coast or Sydney . And because I combined trip to Aussie and New Zealand at the end of the year, I added a New Year’s Eve celebrations in Sydney on my list . Due to limited time , I did a crazy trip: visiting 4 states and territory, 5 points in 6 days : Victoria ( Melbourne ) , New South Wales ( Sydney ) , Northern Territory ( Ayers and Darwin ) , and Queensland ( Cairns ) . Fly across the country at the peak of the tourism season , making the cost of flying a big part of my budget

The Great Ocean Road and the Twelve Apostles was number one on my must-visit list. Rock, the beach is my favorite thing to see, and I enjoy the trip along the coast. This place is also easy to access from Melbourne, capital of Victoria. The late sunset at the Twelve Apostles was my lucky because I was able to get beautiful sunshine when I got there after my late arrival in Melbourne from Indonesia
