Indonesia-Central Jawa-Telomoyo

Telomoyo is the name of a mountain located in the border of Semarang and Magelang, Central Java, which offers vehicle access to the summit to enjoy natural views such as a sea of clouds and sunrises and sunsets.

At an elevation of 1,894 meters above sea level, Telomoyo is a popular tourist destination, accessible via the Dalangan or Pagergedok routes, perfect for visitors who enjoy photography and spectacular views.

KOPENG, SEMARANG

I stayed at Kopeng, Semarang as the base to explore the mountains.

This village is located on the slopes of Mount Merbabu, at an elevation of around 1,500-1,700 meters above sea level.

Because of its location on the mountain slopes, Kopeng Village enjoys a cool and refreshing climate.

The superior products in Kopeng Village are organic vegetables, the manufacture of various traditional handicrafts, traditional foods, ornamental plants, etc.

MT TELOMOYO

This mountain is flanked by four mountains: Mount Merbabu, Mount Andong, Mount Merapi, and Mount Ungaran

The route to the summit of Mount Telomoyo can be climbed by motorized vehicles. However, only two-wheeled vehicles are permitted to reach the summit

At the top, tourists can see views of seven mountains: Mount Merbabu, Mount Merapi, Mount Ungaran, Mount Andong, Mount Sumbing, Mount Sindoro, and Mount Prau If you come here on a clear day

Though I didn’t get really clear day but finally the clouds are gone

I continued to go to south to Magelang border

The mountain view with rice fields along the way made the journey beautiful

I passed Ketep Pass, at the top of Sawangan Hill (midway between Mount Merapi and Mount Merbabu).

Then I continue to Negeri Kahyangan

NEGERI KAHYANGAN, MAGELANG

Negeri Kahyangan is a nature-themed tourist attraction located in Magelang, Surodadi, Wonolelo, Sawangan District, Magelang Regency, Central Java. From the center of Magelang City, it is 31.5 km away

Being in Negeri Kahyangan gives the feel of being in a fairy tale land. Because there are unique buildings in the form of castles like in European kingdoms.
